The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Sunday extended the lockdown till May 31, 2020. In lockdown 4.0, air travel, metro rail services, restaurants, schools and colleges won’t continue to function.
In the fourth phase of lockdown, hotels, restaurants and other hospitality services, except those meant for housing government officials/ healthcare workers/ stranded persons including tourists and for quarantine facilities and running of canteens at bus depots, railway stations and airports. Restaurants shall be permitted to operate kitchens for home delivery of food items.
“All cinema halls, shopping malls, gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars and auditoriums, assembly halls, sports complexes and stadiums will be permitted to open, however, spectators will not be allowed.”
Lockdown 4.0 – The new guidelines by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) permits barber shops, salons and shopping complexes to open. However, the night curfew will remain in effect, which means that all non-essential travel will remain prohibited between 7pm and 7am. The ban on flights and metro services will also remain in place till May 31
Lockdown 4.0 -States can permit all other activities outside containment zones that are other than the limited number of activities prohibited nationally. A limited number of activities to remain prohibited throughout the country. States to decide containment zones, red, orange, and green zones. National directives like night curfew and wearing face masks to be mandatory॰
